Our ‘walo’ made an indelible mark on the global stage, fusing traditional Filipino symbols with world-class choreography at their historic debut set.
BINI didn’t just meet expectations at Coachella, their “herstory” as the first Filipino act to perform in the giant music festival. They blew past these expectations, sending BLOOMs worldwide into full-on celebration, whether those at the Empire Polo Club in California or the ones watching from their screens back home.
Even before the April 10 set (April 11 Manila time), the crowd was already loud, with chants of “BINI! BINI! BINI!” echoing across the grounds. Until their backup dancers fired things up and set the tone for what would become a high-energy performance.
After a short number, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena made a grand entrance, donning their salakots and golden costumes as they opened with the high-octane “Shagidi.”
Moments later, the Nation’s Girl Group removed their golden costumes to reveal ornate blue two-pieces—further sending viewers into a frenzy. These pieces take inspiration from the ocean, as teased by their stylist Ica Villanueva in a TV Patrol interview before.
Global stage, Pinoy pride
From there, it was all bangers. Their setlist included “Out of My Head,” “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” “Bikini,” and, of course, “Pantropiko,” which had an extended section to showcase more of their hypnotic dance moves. BINI also made sure to interact with fans during intervals, even speaking in Filipino and addressing the Team Bahay.

The “Walo” will also hold two “Signals” concerts: on June 20 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and on July 11 at the Seaside Cebu Arena.
Time and again, Walo hanggang dulo indeed.
