Fresh start for Aljon Mendoza in showbiz scene.
Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate and Star Magic Artist Aljon Mendoza is stepping into a new chapter of his career after officially becoming an independent artist.
After starting his journey under ABS-CBN’s management arm Star Magic, Aljon confirmed that he has now been released from the agency that helped launch his career. Though emotional, the actor is embracing the change with courage and excitement.
Aljon shared that veteran host and talent manager Boy Abunda has been guiding him through this transition.
“Sabi po niya sa akin, hindi ito magiging madali… ‘wag daw akong matakot mag dive into the unknown. And excited po ako.”
The actor also reflected on the struggles he faced while finishing his education through a scholarship, admitting there were times he wanted to quit because of financial and personal challenges.
Despite everything, Aljon pushed through and continues to seek guidance as he plans his next moves.
The early release came as a surprise, and he admitted the goodbye was painful.
“Hindi po kasi ako prepared doon… Nabigla po ako talaga and masakit po kasi kahit ano namang separation and kahit anong goodbyes may pain.”
Still, gratitude remains at the center of his heart.
“Ang sabi ko lang po thank you and thank you sa lahat ng pinagsamahan natin.”
Sabi po niya sa akin, hindi ito magiging madali… ‘wag daw akong matakot mag dive into the unknown. And excited po ako.
