LANS turns 25 inside PBB as partner visits animal shelter in her honor

In the five-minute video, Keds revealed that LANS’ birthday wish wasn’t expensive gifts or lavish celebrations but simply the chance to visit and support animal shelters.

“Pinaka-birthday wish niya ay makabisita sa mga animal shelters makapaghatid ng kahit kaunting tulong katulad ng mga supplies,” said Keds, who decided to fulfill that wish while she was away.

Keds and his team traveled eight hours from Cavite to Animal Shelter PH in San Miguel, Bulacan, a shelter LANS had long wanted to visit. They brought essential food, supplies, and care packages for the animals.

Throughout the video, Keds shared updates with LANS in mind, hoping they could catch up on everything once she leaves the PBB house. At one point, he acknowledged that her presence was missed when he attempted to share a trivia about turkeys.

“Si LANS talaga ang magaling sa ganto,” he said.

He also stressed that her commitment to animal welfare would continue regardless of her absence.

“Nandito man siya o wala, gusto naming patuloy ang mga advocacy at ang mga pangarap niya,” said Keds, hoping her birthday would remind people that simple acts such as donating, adopting, and being responsible pet owners can make a difference.

A hidden side to LANS

The birthday greeting also offered a glimpse into the personality behind LANS’ online presence. Keds described his partner as deeply empathetic, saying her emotions are often easy to read.

“Kapag masaya siya, kitang-kita mo sa mata niya. Kapag malungkot siya, talagang dinadala niya sa puso,” he shared, adding that whenever she sees a person or animal in distress, “Gusto niyang gawin lahat para makatulong.”

While her followers already know about her love for animals, Keds recalled a personal experience that showed just how deeply rooted her compassion is.

“Kahit pa nagmamadali kami, kapag may nakita siyang hayop, hihinto talaga kami para i-pet niya,” he said.

For LANS, animal welfare goes beyond advocacy and has become part of who she is.

Keds also highlighted her selflessness, revealing that she had instructed him to direct any additional earnings toward outreach programs and charitable causes rather than spend the money on securing her victory in PBB.
