Imelda expresses gratitude to partner Rafael Thibault amid deeply personal loss.

After her stint in the inaugural edition of Miss Grand International All Stars, beauty queen Imelda Schweighart has revealed a deeply personal struggle she endured while competing on the international stage.

In an emotional Facebook post dedicated to her partner, Rafael Thibault, Imelda revealed for the first time that she suffered a miscarriage during the pageant.

“Even though I’m recovering from something big right now, I know we’ll get through this. Losing our baby might have been the worst part of joining this competition, but in God’s timing we will have one again,” she wrote.

The revelation came as a surprise to many followers, as she had not previously disclosed her pregnancy while competing abroad.

Imelda also expressed gratitude for Rafael’s unwavering support throughout their journey together.

“I support your surfing, you support my pageantry. Both are million-dollar lifestyles, therefore my adrenaline rush is quenched for a while. The beach is waiting. Can’t wait to marvel at sunsets watching you play. I love you, dummy!” she wrote.

She went on to reflect on their shared life, thanking him for standing by her through both milestones and everyday responsibilities.

“Thanks for everything and supporting me from start to finish. From simpler days of just riding in your borrowed motorcycle to building hostels with you. I’m proud to say always, you pick up Noah from school and take him home,” she shared.

The Philippines was represented at Miss Grand International All Stars by Imelda Schweighart alongside Gazini Ganados, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Nuñez, and Keylyn Trajano.

During the finals held in Bangkok, Thailand, Imelda made an early exit from the competition. Fuschia Anne Ravena advanced to the Top 18, while Gazini Ganados secured a spot in the Top 5. The inaugural title was ultimately won by Colombia’s Vanessa Pulgarin.
