From Clarkson meet-ups to Derrick Rose moments, fans enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences through NBA tie-up
The two winners of an all-expenses-paid trip to the United States during ArenaPlus’ inaugural VIP Nights in 2025 recently completed their journeys—filled with shopping, sightseeing, and exclusive experiences straight out of an NBA fan’s wildest dreams.
The first VIP shared the trip with his wife and two children, enjoying a coast-to-coast vacation across the United States, from New York City to Los Angeles.
In New York, the family stayed at the luxurious Trump Tower. While in the city, the VIP met and dined with Filipino-American New York Knicks player Jordan Clarkson. He also watched Clarkson in action during a Knicks vs. Pacers game at the legendary Madison Square Garden.
ArenaPlus is now the NBA’s first official betting partner in the Philippines, following a multiyear collaboration announced in 2026.
“Sobrang excited and masaya kami dahit first time din namin ‘yon,” said the VIP on meeting Clarkson. “Iba ang feeling na nandoon ka, tsaka ‘yong nakikita mo siya sa TV. It was up close, face to face. ‘Yon yong hindi ko makakalimutan.”
NBA All-Star Weekend at the Intuit Dome
In Los Angeles, the VIP enjoyed even more premium NBA experiences, staying at the Marriott LA while attending the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend at the Intuit Dome. The festivities included a concert by Ludacris and the All-Star Games themselves.
“Never pa akong nakapanoon ng NBA or kahit ng PBA, or whatever it is, na near courtside,” said the VIP. “Napaka-lively nila! ‘Yong crowd influence, mapapasabay ka sa kanila. As in goosebump ka palagi.”
He returned home with not only unforgettable memories but also gifts from ArenaPlus, including a Cartier Tank Must watch, Chanel items for his wife, and a fully paid shopping spree.
The first-class experience left the VIP deeply grateful. “Lahat ng experience, surreal sa amin. Not everyone can have that experience,” he said. “Wala na akong ibang masasabi kun’di ‘thank you’ sa lahat ng binigay niyo sa amin—sa shopping nila, sa tour na ’to, and all.”
Meanwhile, the second VIP traveled to Chicago, staying at the Trump Tower Suite.
Meet up with ‘The Windy City Assassin’ Derrick Rose
With the city being home to the Bulls, the VIP met one of its most iconic players, “The Windy City Assassin,” Derrick Rose. A longtime fan, he also received signed merchandise and a pair of Derrick Rose 1s.
“Noong na-meet ko siya, na-starstruck talaga ako, kinabahan,” said the VIP. “Kung Pinoy basketball fan ka, fan ka ni D-Rose. So iyon, super memorable ’yon.”
He also explored Chicago’s snowy cityscape, joined a Barrel Run visiting distilleries and wineries, and capped nights with KTV sessions.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a Pinoy basketball fan to meet his ultimate idol, kaya sobrang thankful,” he said. “Na-feel ko na VIP talaga ako ng ArenaPlus with this chance na binigay ni’yo sa akin para matupad ‘yong dream ko.”
As loyal members of the ArenaPlus community, both VIPs enjoyed rare opportunities to unwind and experience the good life, highlighting how the brand continues to elevate fan experiences in the country.
