DMCI Homes Property Management Corp. (DPMC) shuts down Flair Towers operations amid payment dispute.

Hundreds of residents and unit owners of Flair Towers in Mandaluyong were caught off guard this week after learning that their property management provider, DMCI Homes Property Management Corp. (DPMC), would officially end its engagement with the condominium effective June 20, 2026—leaving key management and support services suspended overnight.

In a notice addressed to residents, DPMC said it would conclude its property management contract with Flair Towers Condominium Corporation (FLTCC) following what it described as “unsuccessful negotiations regarding outstanding financial obligations” owed by FLTCC to DPMC.

The announcement means residents could wake up on June 21 facing an abrupt halt in several services that had long been part of the condominium’s day-to-day operations.

According to the advisory, all ongoing deliverables, technical support, project management services, and Property Management Office (PMO) operations under DPMC will cease. This includes the processing of renovation applications, certifications, permits, and related requests.

Perhaps more concerning for residents is the immediate shutdown of DPMC-operated digital systems. The company said all platforms it provides, including the DMCI App, Inventi, and the official PMO email account for Flair Towers, will be deactivated.

For many homeowners, these platforms serve as the primary channel for submitting requests, reporting concerns, receiving announcements, and coordinating with management.

The sudden transition raises questions about who will take over essential administrative functions and whether residents may experience disruptions in maintenance coordination, documentation requests, and other condominium services.

DPMC did not disclose the amount of the alleged outstanding financial obligations at the center of the dispute. Neither did the advisory identify the management entity that will replace DPMC after June 20.

The company, however, assured residents that it is coordinating with concerned parties to facilitate a smooth turnover and minimize disruptions to daily operations.

“We understand that transitions such as this may raise concerns,” the notice stated, adding that DPMC remains open to providing reasonable assistance during the transition period.

Flair Towers, a two-tower residential development along Reliance Street in Mandaluyong City, is home to thousands of residents and unit owners. The condominium has long been associated with DMCI’s property management services.

For residents, however, the bigger issue is uncertainty.

While corporate disputes between condominium corporations and management firms are not uncommon, it is rare for residents to find themselves suddenly informed that their existing property management office, support systems, and digital services would be shut down within days.

As June 21 approaches, many homeowners are now waiting for answers on who will manage the property next—and whether essential services can continue without interruption.
