A Foodpanda glitch in Davao City is pairing fast-food listings with bizarre, mismatched images—sparking laughs and raising hacking concerns alike.
The issue first gained traction through a TikTok post by @user3476568910 on June 18, which has racked up over 580,000 views. The video showed menu items displayed with unrelated images, prompting the caption: “Is it just me or did food panda got hacked?”

As of June 19, the unusual photos remained visible across several branches in Davao City, including Jollibee, McDonald’s, Chowking, and Popeyes.
Among the most talked-about examples was a Jollibee – J.P. Avenue listing where a 4-pc. Chickenjoy Family Box appeared with an image of Efficascent Oil instead of fried chicken.
Chowking – Lanang Davao showed a Chaofan with Fried Chicken meal with what looked like Christmas decorations.
McDonald’s – Davao Bojada’s 2-Pc. Chicken McDo offering had what was apparently kangkong.
The mix-up went beyond images. In one Reddit thread, users noticed that Jollibee – Davao Bolton branch appeared as “Jollibee Davao Bolton Celtics.” Popeye – Davao branch listings also had unusual visuals.
Many poked fun at the supposed harmless glitch.
“They are just telling us to make healthier choices,” one TikTok user joked.
“Hindi na ako umorder kasi baka hilaw dumating,” one user said.
Others questioned whether the unusual listings pointed to a deeper system issue—or even a possible hacking incident affecting merchant data.
The bizarre listings quickly spread across TikTok and Reddit, particularly in local communities like r/davao, where users shared screenshots and speculated on what might have caused the issue.
As of writing, neither Foodpanda nor the fast-food brands involved have issued official statements addressing the incident.
