Lotlot de Leon: ‘Galit na galit ako,’ amid Nora Aunor legacy controversy

Lotlot de Leon breaks down over Nora Aunor estate issue, insists no fight for inheritance amid family rift with brother Ian.

“Galit na galit ako! Buong buhay ko, sinakripisyo ko para sa mga kapatid ko, tapos, sisirain mo lang!”

This was the emotional statement of actress Lotlot De Leon to her brother Ian, as she broke down in tears while addressing their rift over the estate of their late mother, National Artist Nora Aunor.

Ian, Aunor’s sole biological child and legal heir, took on the responsibility of managing the late actress’ estate after she passed away on April 16, 2025. 

He later established the Nora Aunor Enterprise, a One-Person Corporation, and the Nora Aunor Foundation to safeguard her intellectual property, preserve her memorabilia, and eventually develop a museum dedicated to her life and career. 

Ian has previously said that his legal status does not exclude his siblings and that he intends to handle their mother’s legacy fairly.

During the media conference for her upcoming film “40 Days,” directed by Louie Ocampo, Lotlot was asked about the inheritance issue that surfaced after Aunor’s death. The actress said she could not understand why the situation had escalated.
