Get to know Angel, Zion, Miguel, Calyx, the leads of ‘You’re My Favorite Song’

Meet the teens at the heart of GMA 7’s upcoming afternoon series “You’re My Favorite Song”—a mix of dreamers, underdogs, and rivals, each carrying their own story.

Caprice Cayetano as Angel

At the center is Angel, played by Caprice Cayetano. “She’s warm, friendly, and deeply family-oriented, but do not mistake her kindness for weakness,” said Caprice. “Angel knows how to fight for what matters, especially when it comes to her dreams.” Driven by a personal bucket list, Angel pushes herself to chase the life she wants, no matter the odds.

Marco Masa as Zion

Standing quietly beside Angel is Zion, portrayed by Marco Masa. A shy and slightly awkward presence, Zion leans more toward books than bravado. But beneath that reserved exterior is someone with a hopeful outlook on life, even as he deals with bullying. His biggest test? Finding the courage to stand up, not just for himself, but also for Angel.

Heath Jornales as Miguel

Then there’s Miguel, played by Heath Jornales, a boy who grew up in the spotlight. Fame came early, and with it, a childhood that was anything but ordinary. Constantly busy and tightly managed by a controlling father, Miguel struggles with a lack of freedom, making him a character caught between privilege and pressure.

Clifford Brown as Calix

Completing the mix is Calyx, played by Clifford Brown. Known as the smartest student in school, Calyx thrives on excellence and confidence, but he also carries a darker edge. A bully shaped by intense expectations, he’s used to being on top of the class, until Angel arrives and challenges his place. Behind his superiority is a deeper struggle to live up to a powerful, high-achieving family.
