Filipina tennis star spotted at Bad Bunny show, welcomed home next day after historic Wimbledon run.
Alex Eala trended twice in one day, in two very different moments—one abroad, one back home.
A viral clip from Bad Bunny’s concert in Stockholm, Sweden showed the 21-year-old Filipina tennis star dancing in the VIP section after being flashed on the big screen. The July 11 show at Strawberry Arena is part of the artist’s ongoing world tour across Europe.
The fan-shot video, with humorous on-screen text, quickly gained traction online, with many celebrating Eala enjoying a break after a demanding stretch on tour. Fresh off her historic Wimbledon run, fans pointed to the importance of balance after high-level competition.
“She’s enjoying life outside tennis,” one X user said.
“She’s 21, so yeah, Alex needs to party once in a while,” another fan wrote. “Don’t grow old on the tennis court… balance is the key.”
Eala reached a career-high WTA ranking of No. 29 in March 2026 and recently made history as the top-ranked Filipino player, advancing to the fourth round at Wimbledon and scoring wins over top opponents.
Another clip circulated on X on Sunday showing a different scene: Eala arriving at Manila airport, greeted with flowers by officials and fans following her recent travel.
The homecoming comes ahead of her scheduled fan meet in Makati on July 15, before she resumes competition at the Mubadala DC Open later this month.
“Home sweet home. Welcome home, Alex,” one fan posted.
From center court to concert crowds, Eala’s back-to-back viral moments captured both sides of a rising global athlete, a focused competitor and a young star off duty.
