Judy Ann Santos marks son Lucho’s standout football win in tribute post

Actress Judy Ann Santos is one proud mom after her son, Juan Luis “Lucho” Agoncillo, was named best player in a recent football tournament.

Santos shared the milestone on her Instagram account, posting a heartfelt tribute alongside action photos of the 15-year-old athlete on the field. Lucho also earned a “player of the match” citation, with his team finishing 16th out of more than 70 international squads.

“My dearest boy… mama’s heart couldn’t be prouder of you,” she wrote, noting how she has witnessed his “heart, energy and dedication” in every game. “You’ve come a long way, my love.”

The actress said the experience has “opened up a lot of opportunities” for Lucho as he continues to pursue football.

Beyond the accolades, Santos said what she treasures most are her son’s gestures at home. She shared how he still embraces his parents after matches and shows affection to his siblings. “It’s the tight hugs and kisses you give me and Dada every after game,” she said.

Lucho is the only son of Santos and husband Ryan Agoncillo. The couple also has two daughters, Luna and eldest Yohan.

Santos added that they will continue to support their son’s dreams. “Go and chase your dreams, we will support you no matter what,” she said, adding that she is happy to keep cooking his favorite meals and doing his laundry during tournaments.
