Filipino star shares full-circle fan moment with Hollywood icon, says “You inspire me so much” during star-studded event.
Actor Jericho Rosales had a full-circle fan moment after meeting one of his biggest Hollywood inspirations, Matt Damon, at the grand premiere of the highly anticipated film “The Odyssey” in Mumbai, India.
The star-studded premiere ran over two days, July 10 and 11. Jericho attended the exclusive event upon the invitation of Universal Pictures Philippines, which featured the film’s lead stars, Damon and Tom Holland.
During their brief but memorable encounter, Matt asked for Jericho’s name, prompting the Filipino actor to spell it out before expressing his admiration.
“Man, you inspire me so much,” Jericho told the Academy Award-winning actor.
Matt replied, “Thanks, man, I really appreciate it.”
The exchange left a lasting impression on Jericho, who later shared an 18-second video of the moment on Instagram on Monday night, July 13. The clip also showed him asking Matt for an autograph, making the experience even more memorable.
Reflecting on the encounter, Jericho expressed his excitement in the caption of his post.
“I died when he said that.
