Power Diva eyes future in theater, says she’s ready to take on new discipline beyond concerts if opportunity comes.
Could the Power Diva be Broadway-bound next?
During the media conference for her upcoming 15th anniversary concert “AQUINSE,” Angeline Quinto said she is open to trading concert stages for theater, if the right opportunity comes along.
Asked whether she sees herself starring in a musical, Quinto admitted that theater demands a different kind of discipline, but it is a challenge she is willing to embrace.
“Very challenging yung ganon ‘no?
The singer also praised theater artists, saying she has long admired the passion and commitment they bring to every performance.
While no theater project is in the works yet, Quinto said she is open to the possibility in the future.
Her response delighted fans, with one jokingly casting her in a familiar role: “Ikaw na si Angeline Batungbakal! Winner ka, my friend!”
