Leader Jungwon asked fans to stop insisting “ENHYPEN is seven.”

Some Filipino ENGENEs are reminding organizers that ENHYPEN is now a six-member group after the confirmation of the K-pop act’s return to Manila in October.

Last March 30, Dunkin’ Philippines launched a campaign featuring ENHYPEN as returning brand ambassadors. It included former member Heeseung, who left the group on March 10 to pursue a solo career after serving as the main vocalist and center since the group’s debut in 2020.

The coffee-and-donut chain on July 10 announced a “fun meet” on Oct. 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena—after teasing an “endless” experience two days earlier. Ticketing schedules, seat plans, and other event details have yet to be released.

While many fans celebrated the group’s return, others took to social media with a different message: Ensure that the event respects ENHYPEN’s current lineup following Heeseung’s departure.

“Now that the leader [Jungwon] himself [has] concluded that ENHYPEN is 6, I hope you as a brand would do something about it as well,” one fan wrote on X. “Don’t make such a scene or an activity that will make them uncomfortable during the said event.”

Another fan reminded the brand to “be mindful that ENHYPEN has six members to avoid any conflict with the members and the company itself.”

The day before, Jungwon on Weverse Live asked fans to stop insisting that “ENHYPEN is seven” because “all it does is cause fights within our fandom.”

“I understand the feelings of those who loved ENHYPEN before. But now, ENHYPEN has six members, everyone,” Jungwon said in Korean.

He added that seeing fans fight among themselves was “really not nice,” noting that the conflict had also disrupted the group’s performances. “So I sincerely hope this stops,” he said.
