GoRocky acquires the women’s health clinic, keeps its BGC flagship branch open, and promises continued patient support.
Kindred Health, a women-focused health clinic, is now under new ownership and will continue to operate its flagship branch in Bonifacio Global City, following reports of shuttered clinics and disrupted follow-up procedures.
GoRocky Medical, a telehealth platform for men’s health, announced on July 17 that it had acquired the women-focused health service. The acquisition marks the group’s first venture into women’s health.
“Existing Kindred patients will continue to receive support for their care needs (…) The goal is to make care easier to navigate while preserving the trust, privacy, and patient-centered approach that Kindred patients expect,” the group said in a statement.
GoRocky assured patients that Kindred’s flagship clinic in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, will continue to operate amid the transition. The new owner also promised 24/7 patient support, an expanded network of doctors, and a broader selection of treatment options.ß
The update follows a July 10 post from Kindred mentioning “a new chapter,” which many understood to signal a hiatus. The clinic’s seven other branches across Luzon and Cebu have shuttered over the past few months, leaving many patients without clear information about follow-up procedures, vaccines, and refunds.
