The actress balances love and showbiz life, shrugs off critics as she prioritizes trust, support, and personal time.
Despite her demanding schedule as the lead star of the primetime series “A Secret In Prague,” actress Andrea Brillantes said she always makes time for the people who matter most, including her boyfriend, Franchesko “Pankie” Juan Capistrano.
Andrea shared that maintaining a healthy balance between work and her personal life has become one of her priorities to avoid feeling overwhelmed by her responsibilities.
“Nakakasingit naman ako important po kasi sa akin na mayroon akong oras sa sarili ko para hindi po ako na overwhelm sa lahat ng mga ‘to,” she pointed out.
She added that she makes sure to spend quality time not only with her boyfriend but also with her family and close friends. “Me time with my special someone, with my friends, and family. Binibigyan ko naman ng oras.”
When asked about Pankie’s support for her career, Andrea had nothing but positive words for her boyfriend. “Very supportive naman po.”
The actress also addressed public scrutiny surrounding her personal life, saying she no longer lets online opinions affect her.
“Kapag inisip ko ng isip ang mga sinasabi ng mga tao, maloloka talaga ako, kasi never ko naman sila mapi-please. Iyong mga iniisip nila kasi ako alam ko ang totoo.”
She likewise shared that she has a close relationship with her boyfriend’s family. “Very tight naman po ako with the family, and happy.”
Andrea also revealed that Pankie has never imposed restrictions on her career, saying their relationship is built on understanding and trust.
“Parang wala naman po, very supportive siya. Kapag may sinabi siya na huwag kong gawin? Feeling ko maintindihan naman niya at the end of the day. Kasi na meet naman niya ako eto na iyong ginagawa ko. Artista na ako matagal na.”
Andrea added: “Ibang diskusyon na kung nag meet kami tapos tsaka ko palang gagawin (celebrity). Ito ako noong na-meet niya ako, and tinanggap niya ako ng ganito.”
Andrea added that trust remains the foundation of their relationship.
“So far, nandoon naman ang tiwala niya sa akin.”
Andrea currently headlines “A Secret In Prague” alongside Enrique Gil. The action-romance drama follows Chiara, an empowered young woman whose search for answers leads her to uncover the biggest secret of her life. With its availability on both ABS-CBN and TV5 platforms, the series continues to expand its reach and strengthen its presence in primetime television.
