The protective mom demands accountability after a publication slams her son’s viral Instagram posts.
Karla Estrada has called out a Filipino news publication over its social media post about her son, actor Daniel Padilla.
Karla shared a screenshot of the publication’s post on her Instagram, which commented on Daniel’s recent social media activity, particularly his decision to post and share AI-generated reels depicting positive scenarios for the Philippines.
The publication described Daniel as seemingly “delulu” for sharing the AI-generated content, with its caption reading:
The post did not sit well with Karla, who questioned the way the publication framed Daniel’s social media posts.
“ilang pamamahayag na hindi pinag iisipan,” Karla wrote in her caption.
She then directly addressed the publication, questioning its choice of words and the manner in which the story was presented.
Karla ended her message with a straightforward demand for the publication to reconsider its post.
“ayusin nyo yang post nyo,” she wrote while mentioning the publication.
Her remarks made it clear that she took issue not only with the “delulu” label but also with what she viewed as irresponsible reporting about her son.
