On Tuesday, the Kapamilya actor dropped a look test snap where he appears to be wearing an army vest hinting at a possible return to action scenes.

He captioned the snap, “Dadating Ang Liwanag.”

From misfit to military lead

It can be recalled that earlier this year, Star Magic teased and announced the actor’s new project, showing him in what appeared to be a pitch meeting with filmmaker Lester Pimentel Ong, ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and creatives.

The upcoming project marks Padilla’s return after the successful run of “Incognito.” In the 2025 drama, he starred as Andres Malvar, one of the misfits who joined an underground military unit on deadly missions.
