Actress Glaiza de Castro is entering a new chapter in her life as she announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The actress shared the exciting news on social media Saturday, posting beautiful snaps of herself proudly showing off her growing baby bump.
Along with the photos, Glaiza opened up about her experience during the first trimester of her pregnancy and admitted that the journey has been quite an experience.
“Entering another chapter,” she began.
“So glad I’m through the first trimester because… GRABE PALA.”
Glaiza also said she plans to share more about her pregnancy journey soon, while expressing her appreciation for the women who have been sharing their experiences and advice with her as she prepares for motherhood.
“Will share more about this soon! It’s also been so nice and comforting talking to other women about this journey as a first-time mom. I need all the help I can get,” she added.
Ending her message, the soon-to-be mom gave a newfound appreciation for mothers everywhere.
“Basta masasabi ko lang, ibang klase talaga ang mga nanay,” she wrote.
Glaiza is married to Irish businessman David Rainey. The couple first met in Siargao in 2018 and got engaged in December 2020.
They initially tied the knot in an intimate cliffside ceremony in Northern Ireland in October 2021 before holding a second, Filipiniana-themed beachside wedding in Zambales on January 23, 2023.
Now, the couple is set to welcome another milestone in their relationship as they prepare to become parents for the first time.
