The Cebuana singer-dancer visits her hometown to help Typhoon Tino victims, sharing heartfelt moments and encouraging preparedness ahead of BINI’s upcoming concert.
Aiah Arceta, a member of the nation’s popular girl group BINI, made a heartfelt visit to her hometown in Cebu to support communities affected by Typhoon Tino.
In a now-deleted social media post, Arceta shared photos highlighting the impact of the typhoon and the ongoing recovery efforts. She wrote, “Went to Cebu yesterday for a day to help the victims of Typhoon Tino. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped me buy the food and supplies and for repacking everything together within a day.”

She also expressed hope for her hometown’s recovery: “They said this is already ‘better’ than how it was when the typhoon first hit. To all my friends who live in this village, I hope you can recover as soon as possible!”

One of the most touching moments of her visit, Arceta shared, was seeing electricity restored in affected areas: “One of the highlights of my day. Grabe jud akong kalipay ani pagkakita nga finally naa na gyud silay suga!”
Demonstrating her preparedness, she also reminded followers to stay safe during natural disasters: “Packed my emergency bag in case of anything, charged all my power banks and rechargeable batteries, withdrew cash, and had my hard hat, vest, and boots on standby. I hope everyone has their emergency bags ready, too. It’s always better to be overprepared! Better safe than sorry!”
Arceta joined the relief efforts during a break from her busy schedule as BINI members prepare for their highly anticipated “BINIFied” concert on November 29.
BINI, known for hits like “Salamin”, “Lagi”, “Na Na Na”, “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi”, and “Pantropiko”, consists of Aiah Arceta alongside Mikha, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Jhoanna, and Sheena. Arceta’s visit underscores the group’s commitment not only to music but also to giving back to their communities.
