PNB Holdings debuts today at ₱1.20 with 46.93B shares listed.

PNB Holdings Corp. made its stock market debut Friday, getting a fairly muted welcome for the Lucio Tan-controlled property company.

Shares closed unchanged at ₱1.20 each on their first trading day under the symbol LTL, with 46.93 billion shares listed by way of introduction.

The listing puts a sizeable portfolio of commercial properties under a new stock-market ticker, including the PNB Financial Center, PNB Makati Center, and a prime Makati lot earmarked for development.

PNB Holdings leases office, retail, and commercial spaces, while also earning from co-working spaces, parking concessions, and events venues.

The listing also includes 23.9 billion shares declared as property dividends to shareholders by Philippine National Bank, giving them a publicly traded asset that can be bought and sold.

PNB Holdings President Karlu T. Say said the listing brings new opportunities but also greater responsibility toward shareholders.

“Becoming a public company brings new opportunities, but it also brings greater responsibility. We recognize the trust that our shareholders are placing in us, and we intend to earn that trust by managing the Company responsibly and always keeping a long-term perspective,” Say said.

With LTL now trading on the PSE, the company’s sizeable property portfolio is open to the scrutiny of public-market investors, while its future real estate plans can directly affect shareholder value.
