Vlogger marks long-awaited journey to motherhood after she and Mikee Morada announced their first pregnancy.
After years of hoping and praying to become a mother, vlogger Alex Gonzaga is now embracing a new chapter as she prepares to welcome her first child.
The soon-to-be mom recently shared glimpses from her maternity shoot on social media, giving her followers a look at her beautiful pregnancy journey.
“In my mommy era. Thank You, Jesus, for allowing me to experience the beautiful gift of motherhood,” Alex captioned her post.
The maternity photos come months after Alex and her husband, Mikee Morada, announced that they were expecting their first baby following a challenging journey to parenthood.
In May, Alex shared the good news with her followers, revealing that she became pregnant naturally while she and Mikee were preparing to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF).
“While preparing for IVF, the Lord Jesus blessed us with a natural pregnancy,” Alex shared in her post.
“We want to thank everyone who prayed with us, hoped with us, and supported us through this journey to becoming parents. By God’s grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy,” she added.
Alex and Mikee have been open about their struggles to build a family. The couple previously experienced three heartbreaking miscarriages and faced further challenges while exploring both natural conception and IVF, including a pregnancy affected by a blighted ovum.
Now, as she proudly steps into her “mommy era,” Alex is celebrating the answered prayer she and Mikee have long hoped for as they prepare to welcome their little one.
