A customer’s lunch at an Andok’s branch along Makati Avenue nearly came with an unwanted extra after an insect resembling a cockroach was spotted crawling on a thermos believed to contain gravy or soup.
The video, shared on Threads on October 29, shows the insect crawling across the thermos before squeezing into the gap around its handle. The customer said the incident happened during lunch the previous day.
The diner said they tried contacting the branch through Messenger to report the concern but received no response. They also said they had shared an image of the incident and could provide proof of their online payment, despite having lost the receipt.
The customer added that they appreciated the branch’s complimentary soup, but the alleged incident made them lose their appetite.
The authenticity of the video and the circumstances surrounding the reported incident have not been independently verified.
