His emotional message turns a career milestone into a powerful testimony of hope and healing.
Actor Baron Geisler said he could hardly contain the happiness and gratitude in his heart after his action film “The Delivery Rider” sped straight to No. 1 on Netflix Philippines just a day after its premiere last week.
Directed by Lester Pimentel Ong, the action-drama follows the story of a motorcycle delivery rider with autism who finds himself caught in extraordinary circumstances that test his courage, resilience, and faith. The film combines gripping action with emotional storytelling, offering both thrilling sequences and moving moments of humanity.
The movie’s swift climb to the top marks a proud milestone for Geisler, whose performance has drawn praise from fans and critics alike. Sharing his joy online, the actor could barely contain his emotions over the film’s success.
“Tears of joy are flowing while I’m writing this message. Hindi ko po maipaliwanag yung saya at pasasalamat sa puso ko ngayon. Nangingilabot ako sa tuwa. Number one na po tayo sa Netflix ang #TheDeliveryRider!” he wrote.
In his heartfelt post, Baron gave glory to his faith and thanked those who supported him throughout his journey: “To my Lord and Savior, Jesus, Abba, Father!! All glory, honor, and praise belong to You. I will continue to stay true, focused, disciplined, and dedicated to You, Lord. You are my strength, my purpose, and my peace.”
He also expressed gratitude to director Lester, Studio Three Sixty PH, and the Action360 stunt team, acknowledging their hard work: “Hindi nasayang ang sweat, blood, and tears natin,” he added.
The actor dedicated the film to everyday heroes who inspired its story: “At para sa lahat po ng #Ausome parents, sa mga #riders, at sa lahat ng lumalaban sa buhay—para sa atin po ito!”

Baron also made sure to thank his wife, Jamie Marie, whom he lovingly called his “lucky charm.”
“P.S. Salamat din sa asawa kong si Jamie Marie, my lucky charm! Sabi nga nila, behind every great man is a woman who secretly claimed the lead role. Kaya ayan, lumabas ka na sa pelikula, Love. Para sa’yo rin ‘to, at sa mga fans mo!”
Ending his message on an inspiring note, Baron reminded everyone that “The Delivery Rider” is more than just a film: “This is a story of hope, redemption, and God’s grace. Sa Diyos ang lahat ng papuri. To God be the glory forever.”
Now streaming exclusively on Netflix, “The Delivery Rider” also stars Jake Cuenca, Euwenn Mikaell, Jennica Garcia, and JC Alcantara.
