The official trailer of MMFF 2025 entry “Love You So Bad” teases an intense love triangle starring Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, and Bianca De Vera. The cast opens up about friendship, pressure, and portraying love without limits.

Some love stories whisper. Others explode.

“Love You So Bad” lands firmly in the latter, serving an emotionally charged romance that refuses to play safe. Headlined by Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, and Bianca De Vera, the MMFF 2025 entry explores a love triangle inspired by the 1998 classic Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita, fueled by loyalty, longing, and the kind of passion that blurs all lines.

The film’s official trailer premiered on Dec. 8 during its Media Day, instantly sparking kilig and debate among fans eager to unravel the tangled relationship between Savannah, Vic, and LA.

With hearts colliding and emotions running high, the preview offered a deeper look at a story where loving too much may be the biggest risk of all.

From PBB to the Big Screen

In this radar Entertainment interview, Bianca and Dustin shared how their off-screen bond helped shape their on-screen chemistry.

“We support each other in our own ways,” said Bianca. “Will and I also have our own understanding, so the dynamics are different in a good way. I know Dustin and Will, of course. They also have their own discussions.”

“We’re like one barkada sa school,” Dustin added.

Bianca also revealed that she found strong similarities between herself and her character Savannah.

“Sobrang lapit niya sa personality ko, very carefree, very just-her, so to speak. Kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin, gagawin niya. It’s very exciting kasi feeling ko bihira lang ang makagawa ng ganitong klaseng role na ine-embrace ang bawat parte ng kanyang pagkatao,” she shared.

Facing the MMFF Pressure

For Dustin, staying grounded mattered more than giving in to expectations, choosing to focus on improving his craft rather than the pressure surrounding the project.

“I’m focused on work right now because if I give in to the pressure, I feel like it won’t bring anything good for me,” Dustin said. “I’m more focused on myself these days because there’s still so much I need to work on.”

Bianca, meanwhile, acknowledged the pressure but emphasized the gratitude that came with being part of the festival lineup.

“Well, yes, there’s a certain level of pressure. I can speak for the three of us—the mere fact that we are an MMFF entry alongside what you mentioned as pioneering actors and actresses is already such an honor. It’s a huge blessing for us, especially since this is our first time. These are the kinds of things I know I’ll be telling my children about one day,” she said.

Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Crystal San Miguel, “Love You So Bad” is a co-production of Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment, promising a mix of heart-fluttering romance and emotional tension.
