The couple lands first joint endorsement together as they gear up for the June 22 primetime debut of “Sigabo,” their first series as co-leads.
Actor-director and Primetime King Coco Martin has addressed the delay of his highly anticipated TV comeback, “Sigabo,” as he and Julia Montes marked another milestone together—their first joint endorsement deal with a Filipino household brand.
During the contract signing, Coco shared that the wait for “Sigabo” will be worth it, citing his satisfaction with the show’s initial episodes ahead of its June 22 premiere on ABS-CBN Primetime.
He noted that, as both creator and director, he took time to ensure the series meets his standards.
Coco added that “Sigabo” offers a fresh and more exciting take compared to his previous Fernando Poe Jr.-inspired hits, “Ang Probinsyano” and “Batang Quiapo,” which both enjoyed long and successful primetime runs.
The event also highlighted Coco and Julia’s on- and off-screen partnership, as the couple expressed their excitement over leading a series together for the first time. Their tandem, long supported by fans, is expected to bring both action and romance to the upcoming project.
With “Sigabo” set to debut soon, Coco and Julia said they are looking forward to sharing a project that reflects their growth as artists while giving viewers something new to enjoy.
