Complaints vs. Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, Samantha Panlilio dismissed for lack of evidence

Case dismissed for lack of evidence following allegations involving a driver and missing sensitive photos.

The Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati has dismissed the complaints for slight physical injuries, maltreatment, and unlawful arrest filed against beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee, actress Rhian Ramos, Samantha Panlilio, and other respondents.

According to a report by GMA News on Monday, the prosecutor cited insufficient evidence as the basis for dismissing the complaint filed by a man identified by the alias Totoy.

The dismissal comes months after the National Bureau of Investigation issued a subpoena to Dee in connection with the allegations involving physical injuries and illegal detention.

Dee’s legal counsel, Maggie Abraham-Garduque, previously confirmed that they had received the subpoena and were prepared to comply with the necessary legal procedures.

The complaint was filed by Ramos’ personal driver, who alleged that Dee, Ramos, Panlilio, and their security personnel mauled and detained him inside a condominium unit in January.

Totoy claimed that the incident stemmed from accusations that he had taken a red envelope allegedly belonging to Dee. The envelope was reportedly said to contain sensitive photos.

Dee’s camp had earlier said that the respondents were given until March 3 to submit their counter-affidavits. Failure to submit within the inextendible deadline would result in the case being submitted for resolution.

With the Makati prosecutor’s latest ruling, the complaints have now been dismissed due to the lack of sufficient evidence.
