Businessman and former politician Sam Verzosa has promised to place his well-being and advocacy work at the center of his priorities.
This comes after Verzosa confirmed his separation from actress Rhian Ramos in December 2025, ending their three-year on-and-off relationship.
Prioritizing wellness and self-care
Verzosa recently spoke to members of the press about the importance of self-care and balance. “I am the result of my own product. This is no joke because other people notice it, too. They say, ‘Your skin looks good.’ Of course, I also take care of myself. We need to balance it with the supplements that we sell,” Verzosa told the press during their Chinese New Year celebration at the Frontrow office in Quezon City.
He emphasized that maintaining good health is a personal commitment, adding that he wants to take better care of himself while continuing to extend support to others in need.
“Iyon lang ang ginagamit namin, aside from taking care of ourselves and staying healthy. When you take care of yourself, love yourself, and give love, it shows. I’m also doing Hyrox,” revealed Sam, referring to the rapidly growing sport that combines running with indoor functional workout routines.
Sam Verzosa on being “single but not available”
When asked about his current relationship status, Verzosa responded with optimism, saying he remains full of love, just in a different way.
“I’m always in love naman. I’m in love with the world, with my family, and with life. Lagi ko nga sinasabi na dapat gan’on. ‘Yon ang sagot sa mga positive questions,” he said with a smile.
Pressed further on when he might be ready to enter a new romantic relationship, Verzosa described himself as “single but not available.”
“Sabi ko nga, I’m in love with life, pero personally, hindi pa siguro ako ready to be in a relationship. Single ka pero hindi ka naman available,” he quipped.
For now, Verzosa appears focused on strengthening himself physically and emotionally, while dedicating more time to philanthropy and meaningful pursuits.
