Cryptic posts fuel buzz after Sassa Gurl speaks out on ‘primadona’ costar

Just days after content creator and actress Sassa Gurl publicly shared her unpleasant experience working with a “primadona” actress on a film set, two filmmakers appeared to post cryptic messages seemingly supporting her claims — reigniting online discussions about toxic behavior behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.

Filmmakers Rodina Singh and Kip Oebanda both shared posts on social media that many netizens quickly linked to Sassa Gurl’s earlier revelations about a difficult unnamed actress she encountered while filming a movie last year.

In an Instagram Story, Oebanda wrote about receiving emotional late-night calls from Sassa Gurl over her alleged experiences with a co-star.

“Sassa Gurl calling me and crying at 3 AM over several days due to her terrible experiences with a costar,” Oebanda wrote. “Paano daw ba mag navigate e baguhan lang sya? She tried talking, reasoning, pero wala.”

He added that while “no one’s perfect” and “there’s room to grow,” people should still be allowed to “speak their truth” because others were not the ones who experienced the pain firsthand.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Rodina Singh also posted a strongly worded message criticizing artists who allegedly make work difficult for everyone on set.

“Mas mahirap katrabaho mga artistang pinapahirapan mga katrabaho niya sa pagiging maldita,” Singh wrote on X. She added that entire casts and production staff supposedly struggled with the person involved, while people who attempted to stand up against the behavior also had difficulty navigating the situation.

She further wrote: “2026 na dapat di na natin pinagtatanggol mga masahol sa trabaho.”

Although neither filmmaker directly named anyone, many online users immediately connected the posts to Sassa Gurl’s recent interview where she opened up about encountering a young actress with alleged “primadona” behavior during a movie shoot.

According to Sassa Gurl, the unnamed actress allegedly slammed doors in the faces of crew members and co-stars, ignored colleagues attempting to rehearse scenes, and created tension throughout the production. She also claimed that after filming wrapped, several cast members later realized they all had similarly negative experiences with the actress.

The revelations quickly sparked conversations online about professionalism, workplace behavior, and accountability within the local entertainment industry, with many netizens calling for safer and healthier working environments on film sets.
