Jollibee is facing online criticism after an X user’s bizarre delivery experience exposed what many netizens described as the company’s frustrating and incompetent customer service system.
The anatomy of a logistical absurdity
User @putopao went viral after sharing screenshots of a Jollibee delivery order that was accidentally pinned to Concepcion, Tarlac, instead of the intended destination, resulting in an order being processed from Jollibee Kalayaan in Makati to a location several hours away.
Realizing the mistake, the customer said he immediately tried cancelling the order but claimed he could not get proper assistance from Jollibee’s customer support.

“Sorry @Jollibee. I tried calling and cancelling the order to no avail. Just imagine how that’s going to get delivered from Kalayaan, Makati to Concepcion, Tarlac. I’ll wait,” the user posted.
The screenshots showed the order stuck in “Confirming your order” and later “Looking for a rider,” while the customer continued expressing frustration online over the lack of intervention despite the obvious delivery issue.
In another post, the customer criticized the company’s app system, saying the wrong destination details were already visible and should have been easy to flag or cancel internally.
“Still looking for a rider @Jollibee. All the details are here. If you updated the numbers per store in its app, this would be done. But no. So okay,” the post read.
The situation became even more confusing when the order was suddenly tagged as completed hours later.
“Okay na. The order got delivered. I don’t know where. I don’t know how. Pero at least ‘order completed’. Galing!” the user sarcastically wrote.
The standard response vs. real-world logic
Jollibee’s official X account later responded with a standard apology message asking the customer to coordinate through its Help Center.
“We apologize for the delay in service and understand how frustrating this can be,” the company wrote.
But the response only fueled more frustration from the customer, who replied, “Anong delay in service? Your Help Center is not helpful at all. I did my part already; good luck with yours.”
The viral thread quickly generated thousands of views and interactions, with netizens debating whether the issue stemmed more from the customer’s mistaken pin or the apparent inability of Jollibee’s support system to quickly cancel or resolve the obviously problematic order.
