David Licauco dodges Alex Manalang rumors, says he and Barbie Forteza are ‘great friends’

David Licauco brushes off dating rumors, keeps mum on Alex Manalang while confirming strong friendship with Barbie Forteza.

Actor David Licauco says he remains unaffected by online chatter and sightings involving him and rumored girlfriend Alex Manalang.

“Minsan sine-send sa akin ng mga friends ko, wala naman. Deadma lang,” he shared.

Recently, David spent time in Siargao, where he already owns a property and is exploring plans for a new business venture. The trip also fueled speculation after he was spotted with Alex, though he remained guarded when asked about the status of their relationship.

During the “Summer Unwind” campaign of BlueWater Day Spa, a brand he has represented for years, David said that despite his busy schedule, he still makes time for dating and life outside work.

“Siyempre lahat naman tayo, kayo ba wala?” he joked with reporters.

But when pressed further, he drew a clear line on privacy.

“Hindi masyado,” he said when asked if he was comfortable discussing his love life. “Always naman private.”

David also addressed his relationship with former on-screen partner Barbie Forteza, stressing that they remain close friends despite the end of their popular love team.

He said there was never any conflict between them, adding that they continue to share a good off-screen rapport.

“Hindi naman dahil sa kahit anong bagay.”

“We’re great friends.”

“Oo, okay kami,” he said, putting speculation of tension to rest.
