The BINI manager shares how budgeting, shared chores, team grit powered BINI’s global moment.

Lauren Dyogi, head of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and Entertainment Production, is opening up about what it really took to bring BINI to Coachella

And it wasn’t the glossy, big-budget setup many might assume.

On TikTok, Dyogi shared a reflection video of their experience, filmed while they were still in the US but only uploaded recently. In it, he laid out the financial realities behind the trip, revealing just how tight things were from the very beginning.

Despite Coachella being a global stage, the team had to operate on a severely limited budget—cutting down manpower, stretching resources, and constantly adjusting plans just to keep things moving. Even airfare and work visa costs placed heavy pressure on the production, while rising expenses abroad made the situation even more difficult.

With a lean team on the ground, everyone had to step up. Roles blurred between production and basic survival—driving rented vehicles, buying groceries, cooking meals, and cleaning shared spaces—all while managing a group of around 30 people split across two houses.

Dyogi also praised BINI’s attitude throughout the entire experience. No complaints, no fuss—just full cooperation and teamwork. The members helped carry equipment, handled chores, and adapted quickly to the demands of the situation.

For the group, Coachella wasn’t just a performance stop. It was a mission: to introduce BINI to a global audience and represent Filipino artistry on an international stage.

And behind that moment was a team willing to make real sacrifices just to get there.
