Plus, a rare fanboy moment with a National Artist.

Dingdong pushes actors unity.

A room full of artists, one shared mission.

Actor-film producer Dingdong Dantes gathered with creatives from across Luzon for the Luzon Guild Summit, an initiative of the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP), and it was anything but a simple meetup.

“Grateful to be in a room filled with artists, sharing real stories about what it takes to build a guild here in the Philippines,” began Dantes, who is chair of the guild AKTOR PH. “It is not easy work. More often than not, it is challenging. But it is deeply fulfilling because it allows us to serve a greater purpose: to organize, uplift, and empower our community.”

Dantes also expressed gratitude to the revitalized FAP, led by Director General Paolo Villaluna, for championing guilds and strengthening the industry from within.

The big news: The doors are now officially open to actors across Luzon, bringing regional artists into one growing, united community.

And yes, even industry leaders have their fanboy moments. “At syempre, nakapagpapicture pa ako with National Artist Kidlat Tahimik,” Dantes shared.

Because even legends get starstruck.
