A month after drawing attention for reopening a modest pares cart in General Trias, Cavite, social media personality Deo Jarito Balbuena, better known as Diwata, is once again expanding his entrepreneurial journey.
Diwata recently announced the opening of Diwata Salon and Barbershop in Trece Martires, Cavite, adding another chapter to his comeback story as he continues to rebuild following a series of setbacks.
The new business offers a range of services, including haircuts, styling, shaving, hair coloring, and treatments. To mark its launch, the establishment is offering discounted rates during its grand opening on June 13.
In promotional videos posted on Facebook, Diwata invited customers to visit the shop, highlighting the skills of its barbers and encouraging residents to try the salon’s services.
Many netizens welcomed the development, expressing support for what they see as another step forward for the viral content creator. Others said they were happy to see him slowly bounce back after facing business and personal challenges in recent years.
Some supporters also pointed to his perseverance, saying his willingness to start over through small-scale ventures has also created employment opportunities for others.
