Direct link to Ortigas Busway Station.
The SM Megamall Busway Concourse is now open, providing commuters with easier access to the EDSA Carousel Ortigas Busway Station.
SM Megamall placed a sign at the concourse entrance on April 1 announcing that the elevated link is now accessible to the public.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) Public Information Office said the northbound and platform areas of the concourse have already been completed and are now open for commuter use, aiming at improving overall convenience for passengers using the EDSA Busway. However, work on the southbound side is still ongoing in coordination with SM.
What commuters need to know
The bridge connects to the EDSA Carousel Ortigas Avenue Station from the northbound side, with access originating from SM Megamall Building A.
Elevators going up are operational, while elevators going down are still being installed, based on reports from netizens.
There is currently no access from the southbound side. However, the adjacent lot remains boarded up, with notices informing commuters that the area is under construction by SM as part of the EDSA Busway project.
Construction on the SM Megamall Busway Concourse began in August 2025.
The link provides easier access to one of the busiest stations along the EDSA Carousel, reinforcing SM Megamall’s role as a key transport hub in the Ortigas area. It also helps ease commuter flow during peak travel periods, including the Holy Week rush, as the MRT-3 undergoes routine maintenance.
Say goodbye to the ground-level hustle. The SM Megamall Busway Concourse is now open, linking Building A directly to the EDSA Carousel Ortigas Station. Check the latest status on elevators and southbound access here.
