In response to the persistent inflationary pressures of 2026, the social enterprise has authorized a 10% salary bump for all rank-and-file staff, ensuring a monthly take-home pay that far exceeds the current ₱695 daily minimum wage in Metro Manila.

With daily expenses continuing to climb, a local personal care company is increasing employee wages, highlighting how some firms are adjusting compensation amid persistent cost pressures.
Human Nature said it will raise salaries of its rank-and-file employees by 10%, lifting monthly pay to around ₱27,500 in Metro Manila and ₱25,850 in the provinces. The adjustment translates to higher take-home pay of roughly ₱2,500 and ₱2,350, respectively.
The move comes as households contend with rising costs of fuel, transport, and basic goods. Higher energy and logistics expenses continue to feed into the prices of food and everyday essentials, adding pressure on household budgets.
Metro Manila minimum wages currently stand at ₱695 for non-agriculture workers and ₱658 for agriculture, small retail, or manufacturing workers. In several provincial areas, daily wages range from about ₱360 to ₱450, underscoring the gap between minimum pay and living costs in different parts of the country.
Alongside the wage adjustment, the company is also offering discounts on its products to help ease spending for consumers facing tighter budgets. The initiative adds another layer to its response as inflationary pressures continue to affect both workers and households.
While fuel prices climb, wages at Human Nature are following suit. The company has announced a 10% pay hike, pushing Metro Manila salaries to ₱27,500. Discover how this local brand is setting a new standard for corporate empathy in 2026.
