This not-so-young lady (NSYL) , who recently broke up with her high-profile ex-boyfriend, was reportedly given a posh condominium unit in Makati, by the mother of her now ex.

However, despite her loyalty, she reportedly failed to meet the approval of the ex-boyfriend’s powerful mother. Determined to safeguard her son’s public reputation and carefully cultivated image, the matriarch allegedly determined that the actress was not a suitable fit for the family’s elite status, despite NSYL’s exceptional efforts, including frequent trips back and forth to spend time with her beau.

In a move straight out of a primetime script, the mother reportedly offered a “settlement” to facilitate the end of the relationship. The story goes that the mother supposedly asked her to end the relationship. In Filipino terms: “Magkano para sa layuan mo anak ko.”
