The newly opened Cebu Pacific Training Academy in Parañaque City features emergency slide trainers and specialized aircraft door simulators. By centralizing its training operations and reviving its Cadet Pilot Program, the airline aims to build an internal pipeline of aviation professionals, ensuring higher safety standards and more consistent service as it expands its domestic and international flight network.
Cebu Pacific’s new Parañaque academy supports expansion, safety, and service standards.
Air travel could become more reliable for Filipino passengers as a local airline strengthens its workforce training program.
Cebu Pacifichas recently opened a 1,685-square-meter training academy in Parañaque City, equipped with cabin mock-ups, emergency slide trainers, and aircraft door simulators for Airbus A330 and ATR aircraft.
Hands-on, scenario-based training
The facility is designed to replicate real flight conditions, allowing pilots and cabin crew to train in hands-on, scenario-based environments before deployment.
Instead of relying heavily on third-party training providers, the airline is now building its own pipeline of aviation professionals, which could translate to more consistent service standards for passengers.
The academy complements the airline’s revived Cadet Pilot Program, which provides structured training and a direct path to employment. As of April this year, a second batch of cadets has already completed the program.
No more third-party delays. Cebu Pacific has opened its own 1,685-sqm training academy in Parañaque, complete with A330 and ATR simulators.
