Marina Summers marks 7th drag anniversary

Marina started as a resident queen at Nectar Nightclub, snatched the “Poison Drag Cartel S3” crown, and brought her signature tropical aesthetic to “Drag Race PH S1,” indelibly marking her name in drag herstory.

And she didn’t stop there. She dominated the music scene with her debut “I Have Arrived,” the viral girl group hit “Pop Off Ate!,” and “Divine.” In 2023, she took over NYC with a Times Square billboard for Spotify’s “GLOW” LGBT+ equity program. 

After producing the recap show “Stop Over,” she competed on “Drag Race UK vs The World S2.” She placed as a fierce finalist, prompting RuPaul herself to declare: “You were born to be on stage. You were born to do drag.” Proving her world-class star power, she embarked on a 10-country world tour, became the first drag queen to perform at Miss Universe Philippines in 2024, and made herstory as the first drag queen to be a face of Cream Silk Philippines.

Marina became the first Filipina drag queen to walk the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a stunning Mark Bumgarner gown. She also headlined the “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live” residency in Las Vegas, joined the Werq The World 2025 international tour, and returned to the “Drag Race PH” mainstage as a guest judge for “Slaysian Royale.”

On top of that, she launched “A Night of a Thousand Marina Summers,” the Philippines’ first-ever dedicated drag exhibit featuring her legendary ensembles and career milestones.

Today, Marina is living her most beautiful, authentic truth as a proud trans woman. She continues to break barriers, represent Filipino queer culture on the global stage, and show the world exactly why she is a superstar.
