The intense criticism stemmed from a recent interview with radar Entertainment, where her remarks regarding the hotel discrimination incident involving fellow drag artist M1ss Jade So drew heavy flak from netizens.

Admitting that the past few days have been incredibly difficult, Maxie expressed heartbreak over how quickly her missteps have overshadowed her lifelong LGBTQIA+ advocacy. “Doon ko lang din nalaman na ang bilis-bilis manghusga ng buong mundo.
