BTS reunites for ‘ARIRANG’ Era with a global Netflix Special and 82-show tour.

Netflix’s newest documentary “BTS: The Return” is now streaming on the platform.

The one-hour and 33-minute documentary follows BTS members Jung Kook, V, Jimin, RM, Suga, Jin, and J-Hope’s reunion after their four-year hiatus as a group following their mandatory military service. It shows how the K-pop kings recorded their newest album, “ARIRANG,” in Los Angeles.

According to the logline, the documentary offers “unprecedented access to the band as they enter a new era.”

“ARIRANG” is the group’s full album and first full release since its anthology album “Proof” in June 2022. According to The Korea Herald, BTS’ label BigHit Music said that for the album, the boys collaborated with star producers like Diplo, Ryan Tedder, and El Guincho.

BTS officially staged its comeback through the “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” concert on March 21 in Seoul’s historic Gwanghwamun district.

Starting April, BTS will kick off the “ARIRANG” world tour with 82 shows across 34 cities in 23 countries, including the Philippines. The Manila stop is slated for March 13 and 14, 2027.
