Fans fear a deeper rift inside 2NE1 after Park Bom publicly accuses Sandara Park in an explosive social media post.
TRIGGER WARNING: ARTICLE MENTIONS OF DRUGS AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE
Will Park Bom and Sandara Park’s recent social media fiasco end the relationship within 2NE1?
Just this week, Blackjacks were shocked after Park Bom stunned fans with a handwritten Instagram confession claiming she was made a scapegoat to protect Sandara Park.

“To the citizens of the nation… Hello. I am not sick and I am working hard to live well. I’m writing because I need to share the truth about something sensitive and frightening. At the time, I felt like I was dying… but now I have gathered the courage to speak,” Bom wrote in a now-deleted handwritten letter on social media, which was later captured by the Koreaboo website.
Bom claims she was a scapegoat
She addressed past accusations of drug abuse surrounding her use of Adderall, a medication prescribed for her Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Bom insisted she required the medication for medical reasons but was unfairly made the face of a scandal to cover up Sandara Park’s alleged drug use.
“It is not a drug. I am an ADD patient. Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned my medication into a scandal labeled as drug abuse. At the time, there weren’t even clear laws about Adderall, but strangely, after my case, a law was created,” she said.
Bom also directly called out YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk, producer Teddy Park, and fellow member CL, pleading, “Please do not report to the authorities that I used more than the prescribed amount of a medication you yourselves have never used. I am writing this because it feels like my soul is crying.”
Her revelation sparked intense discussion online, with fans debating the truth behind the long-standing controversy and many rallying behind Park Bom’s plea for justice.
Following Bom’s statement, Sandara took to social media to address the allegations. In an Instagram Story, she wrote: “I have never used drugs. I wish her well.”

Her statement came after Bom shocked fans with a handwritten Instagram confession alleging she had been used as a scapegoat to protect Sandara. As tensions rose between the two Korean stars, netizens also noticed that Bom and Dara had unfollowed each other on social media.

The end of 2NE1 reunion hopes
Because of this, fans of one of the original K-pop pioneer groups have begun speculating that hopes for a future reunion may now be over.
2NE1, formed by YG Entertainment in 2009, became one of South Korea’s most influential girl groups with hits like “Fire” and “I Am the Best.” The quartet—CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Minzy—officially disbanded in 2016, but their impact on K-pop remains significant.
