Wendy’s newest ₱65 frosty is a nostalgic deep dive into the ube, langka, and latik flavors of our childhood.
Last week, Wendy’s Philippines officially dropped the sapin-sapin frosty (₱65), and it’s already taking over our feeds. With mostly natural ingredients, it’s a legit tribute to the kakanin we grew up with.
Wendy’s really did their homework. They’ve put ube jam and langka slices, which captures that specific earthy-meets-tropical aroma of a fresh market stall.
They top the velvety vanilla frosty with grated cheese and toasted latik bits to elevate the frozen treat to a real kakanin crossover.
For us, the real game-changer is the toasted latik bits. That salty, smoky crunch on top is the soul of the kakanin, perfectly cutting through the sweetness of the langka slices and saltiness of grated cheese. It’s authentic, nostalgic, and honestly, really good.
This limited-time treat is only available at selected Wendy’s branches.
This chilly and creamy delight is the ultimate kakanin-inspired mashup for anyone missing those classic market flavors.
