The host-producer promises Season 2 is ‘a lot better.’

Vice Ganda is juggling shows, but she knows exactly which ones deserve the spotlight first.

Vice Ganda says a comeback for Ganda Gabi Vice is still possible, but don’t hold your breath just yet. “I can’t do them all at the same time,” she admits, pointing instead to the return of “Everybody, Sing!” on May 2.

With only a 13-week run, it’s her current priority. After that, maybe, just maybe, GGV gets its moment again.

Over on “LOL: Last One Laughing,” Vice isn’t sugarcoating things. Season 2—set to premiere on July 4 on Prime Video—comes with a lot more confidence and a lot less chaos-for-the-sake-of-chaos.

“I personally believe this season is a lot better and funnier than the first one,” she says candidly. In fact, she admits Season 1 didn’t fully sit right with her, especially toward the end. “There were a lot of scenes that were… I already felt off. I couldn’t watch it.”

What changed? For one, they listened. “There’s an instruction… not to be too disgusting. ‘Don’t be a pig,’” she shares, referencing feedback from viewers who felt the show crossed into “kababuyan.” At one point, contestants even resorted to extreme antics—like swapping saliva—which didn’t exactly land well, especially given sensitivities around food and waste.

Season 2 dials it back without losing the laughs. “We learned. We adjusted. When we finished the shoot, it’s better—for me, personally, it’s better,” Vice says. The cast also came in more prepared this time, armed with sharper material instead of relying on shock value.

As for casting, Vice says she doesn’t handpick contestants, but gives the final nod. “They’re just presented to me. But I know them all. That’s why I said go.”

And in between all that? She’s still holding court on “It’s Showtime!”—because if there’s one thing about Vice, it’s that she knows how to keep the show going.

As for the wild idea of her running for president because of her popularity? Vice keeps it light: “No. Let’s not be too serious.”
