Actor-performer admits nerves before ticket launch as fans snap up both shows at New Frontier Theater.

Day 2 of Wilbert Ross’ debut concert “WRten by Wilbert Ross” has officially sold out, completing a rare two-night sellout for the actor-performer’s first major solo show at the New Frontier Theater.

The second show, added after the initial night sold out in just 30 minutes, was quickly snapped up by fans—proving that demand extended far beyond a single evening and turning Ross’ debut into a full two-night, sold-out milestone.

In an exclusive interview with radar, Ross admitted he never expected the overwhelming response, revealing that nerves had been building up weeks before the ticket launch.

“Di ko inexpect. Overwhelming lang talaga lahat. Kase sa totoo lang kabado ako ilang weeks na. Kase di ko alam kung kaya ko makasold out ng NFT,” he said.

He shared that he had been quietly praying for the concert’s success, even if it didn’t happen instantly.

“Sinabi ko nalang sa sarili ko na Lord sana makasold out kahit ilang weeks pa yan basta masold out lang… Takot ako na baka eto lang yung chance ko for concert.”

When the first show officially sold out within minutes, the moment hit him emotionally.

“Nung sinabi na soldout nga daw agad in 30mins officially… Di ko napigilan maluha. Kase pangarap ko lang to dati.”

Now, with Day 2 also fully booked, what began as uncertainty has turned into a defining career moment—one that expands his long-awaited debut into a two-night celebration of his journey.

Ross said the concert will be deeply personal, reflecting his growth in the industry.

“All about me, yung journey ko sa showbiz, yung mga kwento ng mga kantang nasulat ko sa ilang taon ko sa showbiz. From a contestant sa Tawag ng Tanghalan to Pinoy Boyband, to Hashtags, hanggang ngayon,” he said.

With both nights now sold out, “WRten by Wilbert Ross” marks a full-circle moment for the performer—transforming a once-distant dream into a sold-out reality across two consecutive shows.
