Iconic pop-rock band 6Cyclemind celebrates 25 years with a free anniversary concert and new album.

Loved for their early 2000s barkada tunes, pop-rock band 6Cyclemind is opening the gates of Eton Centris with a free concert on September 12 to mark its 25th anniversary.

Catering to a fanbase that spans generations, the concert will feature artists such as HEY JUNE, Bino of Sunkissed Lola, Gigi de Lana, The Dawn’s Jet Pangan, and former 6Cyclemind member Chuck Isidro with his band, CLNO.

Known for hit songs such as “Sandalan” and “Sige,” the band has released six studio albums over a career spanning more than two decades. “25 years is such a special milestone kasi mas ramdam namin ‘yong era na natawid ng banda,” explained bassist Bobby Cañamo.

For the band, a live show to celebrate their silver anniversary was necessary, as the stage has always been “a place they called home,” one that brought them comfort and familiarity.

“A live show always seems like a reunion with our audience for us,” said manager and 6th member Darwin Hernandez, recalling the band’s more than two decades of touring.

The anniversary concert will also bring former member Chuck Isidro back into 6Cyclemind’s story. Isidro left the group in 2010 before forming CLNO, which will now open the anniversary show.

As they mark a significant chapter in their career, the rock icons are taking on a new challenge: their seventh studio album.

Although details have yet to be announced on whether the album will retain the band’s iconic sound, 6Cyclemind said it remains committed to the same values that have held the group together through the years: “making music, performing, reaching new listeners, and growing alongside the Filipino music community.”

The upcoming album will be produced by Isidro, bringing the former member back into 6Cyclemind’s creative process as the group enters its 26th year.
