From gas to goods, the Pangilinans pivot to food relief to boost community support.

Motivational speaker and entrepreneur Anthony Pangilinan has announced a new community initiative at the Shell South Forbes branch he co-owns with his son, actor Donny Pangilinan—offering free food items to customers amid rising costs of basic goods.

In a post shared on the station’s official Facebook page, Shell South Forbes said it is expanding its ongoing support efforts by giving away food items to motorists availing of diesel and Fuel Save gasoline.

“Apart from our ongoing community support program offering discounted fuel, we are now also providing food items to customers availing of all diesel and fuel-save gasoline,” the post read.

The initiative is made possible through partnerships with Mang Tomas and NutriAsia, which supplied the food products for distribution.

“We are grateful to our partners and friends, Mang Tomas and Nutri-Asia, for making these additional giveaways possible—especially during this time of greater need for our nearby communities, including Inchican, Banaba, and Tibig,” the statement added.

The program officially kicked off on March 31 and will run while supplies last, benefiting customers and residents in nearby areas.

The initiative comes as more businesses explore ways to extend support to communities affected by increasing fuel and food prices, with Shell South Forbes emphasizing a message of solidarity: “Communities supporting communities—especially when it matters most.”
