Jojo Bragais as judge for MGI All Stars.
International Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais has been announced as one of the official judges for the inaugural edition of MGI All Stars, adding a notable Filipino presence to the highly anticipated international pageant event.
The All Stars edition is a special competition created by the Miss Grand International Organization that brings together former beauty queens from different national and international pageants to compete once again on a global stage. The first-ever edition is scheduled to culminate with its grand final on May 30, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a new format designed to spotlight experienced contestants returning to pageantry.
The walk of champions
Bragais, widely known in the pageant world for his luxury footwear brand Jojo Bragais Shoes, has built a strong reputation among beauty queens and international competitions. His shoes have been worn by numerous pageant contestants around the world, and his brand has even served as a sponsor for major global competitions such as Miss Universe.
The Filipino designer’s appointment to the judging panel further highlights his growing influence in the global pageant industry. In recent years, Bragais has been invited to serve as a judge in several international pageants, becoming one of the few Philippine-based fashion figures to take on such roles.
The MGI All Stars competition itself has generated excitement among pageant fans for its unique format. Unlike traditional pageants that focus on first-time contestants, the All Stars edition welcomes women and transgender women aged 20 to 40 who have previously competed in international pageants, allowing them to return to the spotlight and compete again.
With Bragais joining the judging panel, Filipino pageant enthusiasts now have another reason to follow the competition as it gathers former queens from around the world for what organizers describe as a “battle of the stars” in the pageant arena.
