Sy’s child allegedly bullied Vargas’ child—and Sy’s wife allegedly wrote defamatory statements on Facebook.
Actor Rob Sy strikes back as he and his wife Juvelle Bacosa are facing criminal complaints from Quezon City councilor-actor Alfred Vargas and wife Yasmine—over an alleged bullying incident involving their children.
“Ang Alegasyon ay Hindi Ebidensya,” Sy’s caption in an April 21 post read, accompanied by his photo with lawyer Danielito Jimenez.
The Vargases alleged that their minor child was “repeatedly pushed and held underwater during swimming training sessions” by a minor, referring to Sy’s child. They claimed asking the Sys to intervene. Sy has since denied the allegations in a Facebook post on April 14.
The cyber libel complaint, meanwhile, stemmed from Bacosa’s posts from April 14 to 17, which Yasmine said were defamatory.
