As she continues to champion Filipino representation on the global stage, actress Liza Soberano once again made the Philippines proud as she showcased a Filipina-inspired evening gown at the fifth annual Gold House Gala in Los Angeles, USA.
The actress stunned in a golden, strapless piña fabric anahaw-crafted dress, effortlessly turning heads as she walked the gala’s red carpet. Liza kept her look elegant and sophisticated, wearing her hair down and pairing the ensemble with a gold choker necklace, all topped off with her confident, radiant smile.
“It’s my favorite night! What an honor to share the @forgottenislandmovie on the @goldhouseco gala stage alongside my sister, @hermusicofficial,” she captioned her post on Instagram.
Following her post, the actress received praise online from her industry friends and followers. Many couldn’t help but admire her beauty, with one commenting, “You blew the night away,” while others echoed, “Simply gorgeous,” and “So lovely and gorgeous, always a stunner.”
During the evening, the actress also shared the spotlight with Filipino-American singer-songwriter Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, popularly known as H.E.R., as they took the stage together as presenters for the prestigious event.
Both Liza and H.E.R. are set to lend their voices to the upcoming DreamWorks animated film “Forgotten Island,” scheduled for release in September 2026.
Featuring Philippine mythology, the film also includes Broadway icon Lea Salonga and follows a group of friends stranded on a magical island inhabited by creatures like the kapre and manananggal.
